After completing our move to Camp 1 yesterday, we've already begun moving our equipment to Camp 2. It took us 7 hours to ascend 860 metres and just 40 minutes to ski back down to Camp 1. At this altitude, everything you do becomes an effort - even putting your clothes on in the morning!

We expect it to take us another 2 or 3 days of moving the rest of our gear before we can call Camp 2 home. However, having to make several carries to each camp helps us to acclimatize to the altitude. Tomorrow, we'll definitely take a rest day as we've been going strong for six days now - and besides - it's Sunday!
