Leaving Home.
We're leaving our first "home" - Base Camp - on Mount Logan today, and making
the final move to Camp 1. The weather has been most cooperative so far and
today we're experiencing light snow flurries - a welcome change from the
intense sunlight of the past few days. Tomorrow we'll take a rest day to
acclimatize to our new altitude before beginning our move to Camp 2.
We may be out of touch for a few days as we'll be travelling through the King
Trench which will block the satellite signal. However, we expect good
transmission from Camp 2 to the summit.
We'll get back to you soon. Cheers to all,
Logan Expedition Team
