Take-uma

Take-uma (Bamboo Horse)

Children learn to walk with these bamboo stilts. First, it is difficult to keep your balance, but once you get used to it, it is the same as walking.

Ohajiki (Penny-Sized Glass Disks)

First, throw the disks on the ground. Then choose one of the disks as yours. With your finger, draw a line between your disk and a neighboring disk. Hit this disk with your disk. If you succeed in hitting the disk, you can have it. If you miss a disk, your turn is over. Now it's your friend's turn. The player who collects the most disks wins.
Ohajiki

Otedama

Otedama (Bean Stuffed Quilts)

Throw these miniature quilts into the air to the rhythm of a song, increasing the number as you sing along.
