Chang-anp'yong antique artwork street is in Tapship-ri 4-dong and 5-dong on
the way to Ch'onhodaegyo Bridge via Majang-dong Intersection. The street, with
147 stores, can be described as a "museum of antique work." The antique items sell at an infinite difference of price, but most are not much more expensive than is to be expected. |

Insadong Antique Book Shops
Antique book shops are another feature of Insa-dong. The book shops here, including T'ongmun-gwan, once made a considerable contribution to the discovery of culturally valuable books. Rare and valuable antique books, including "Ch'ongguyong-n", "Worinsokpo", and "Shiyonghyang-akpo", titles which are well known to most Koreans, entered museums and libraries through the shops here. However, precious old books are rarely found in the shops now except in reprinted version. |
