ĦĦĦĦMt. Naejangsan rises over a vast area and borders three counties of the Cholla
area. It was designated a National Park in 1971. As one of the eight greatest
tourist attractions in Korea, the mountain is blessed with strange-shaped rocks,
imposing waterfalls, deep valleys, and, above all, gorgeous maple trees.
No other mountain on the peninsula attracts more tourists during the fall foliage
season than Mt. Naejangsan. The Japanese nutmeg on the peak are particularly fantastic in winter, when the trees are covered with snow. |
