Ch'ongp'ung Cultural Properties Complex |
ĦĦĦĦLocated on a ridge above Ch'ungjuho Lake, this complex reconstructs
the beauty of the village of Ch'ongp'ung, which was submerged after
the construction of Ch'ungju Dam.
It took three years to relocate the
buildings and structures of this historic village to the current site.
Many of the old and unique buildings have been transferred to the complex and
we can feel the spirit of its former inhabitants.
These include pavilions such as Hanbyongnu, Kumnamnu, P'alyongnu, and
Ungch'onggak, as well as Ch'ongp'ung Local Confucian School.
