P: Shiratani at Night in the Shiratani Unsui Valley: 112k
21:00, March 9, 1996

"I climbed up the Shiratani Valley, and set the equipment at night. It was cold at the time, so no animals and birds were about. In the middle of the sound file, the sound of wind can be heard. This sharp sound of trees rustling is caused by the trees being so tall. They are coniferous trees. Broad-leaved trees make the sound appear nearer and rustle dully. How did I decide where to set the microphone? It was at night, so I couldn't walk around a lot. When I heard something interesting, I listened to it carefully, and then I set the equipment."
