Your favorite places in Kyoto?
Of all the narrow streets and temples my favorite place is the Ryoanji temple and surrounding area. In terms of the large avenues I like the Teramachi Doori with its mysterious shops, where I always discover something new. I find the Nankaikan on Kujo Doori wonderful as well.
