Some folks on BUSLIB-L (Business Librarians) are talking again about EDGAR shutting down on Oct. 1. I thought you'd like to know about the topic. Is that still the plan, or has anyone stepped forward to take it on/buy it out? :)

I already noted one question about EDGAR being discontinued on the INTERNET. I am looking for alternatives to this as people find it very useful. I am aware of the products offered by Federal Filings, Moody's, LEXIS/NEXIS and Disclosure. Does anyone know if any of these (or any other) are available via the INTERNET? I realize that any of these will have to be paid for.
I am sure others on the list would be interested in knowing the answer to this so please post your response to the list.
