Imagine my surprise when I opened up the world wide web town.hall.org/edgar/edgar.html today to find a notice that it will have to shut down 10/1/95.
I have made a good deal of use of this service this year.
As a corporate attorney I have told other attorneys about this service as well. Being able to extract SEC EDGAR filings immediately from my work station has greatly enhanced service to the client because of greater speed and not having to pass along the cost of Lexis or a hardcopy service.
It seems to me this is exactly the kind of project the world wide web is best suited to deliver.
I hope you can do something to keep things like this alive.
