Men's Hanbok

The Men's basic Hanbok consists of a Chogori-jacket, Paji-pants, and Turumagi-coat. The jacket has loose sleeves and pants are roomy and tied with ribbons around the ankles.
Women's Hanbok

The women's Hanbok includes a chogori with two long ribbons which are tied to form the Otkorum, it has long full sleeves. There is a Chima which is a skirt. Korean women wear Sokjuksam for underwear. They compliment this by wearing white cotton socks, Busuns. When going out, they put on the Turumagi.



Wedding Hanbok

At weddings, the bride and bridegroom wear special clothes which can be the most splendid and magnificent of all Hanbok. Primarily, the Bridegroom wears the Samo, Kwan Dae, and Kwan Bok. Brides wear Halot and Wonsam.




Mourning Hanbok

The Mourning Hanbok is quite different from wedding and plain Hanbok. It is made of coarse hemp material. According to sex and marital status, there are different forms. The host of the funeral wears Gulkun.
