National Museum of Contemporary Art

The National Museum of Contemporary Art buys, preserves and displays contemporary art pieces. Besides the building there is also an outdoor sculpture area.

First opened in l969 at Kyungbok Palace, was moved and since l986 has been situated inside Kwachun's Seoul Land.

A data room, library, preservation roon, audio/visual room is available and for art lovers it alos offers lessons on Saturdays and lessons for children.

Open all year round expect on Mondays and New Year's Day, from March 1st through October 3lst it is open from lO:OO till I8:OO. And from November 1st through Februaru 28th the museum is open from lO:OO till l?:O0. Get off at Seoul Grand Park Station and you will be able to find it.

HO AM MUSEUM

established in l982, Ho Am holds about 15,000 pieces of artwork ranging from paintings, and pottery. 91 of them are national treasures.

In l995 the "Koryo national treasure exhibition" showed the world the superiority of our culture. Exhibitions according to the dynasties wiII soon f0110w Ho Am's preservation room baosts of its technology and a large anount of specialists in that field.

Ho Am Museum is located in Kyungki do YongIn Pokogmyun Kasillli.

It is located in Kyungjoo city, which has 1,000 years of history within its walls.

 There are 2 kinds of total art galleries. One is 'Open Total Gallery', which is located in Jang-Hung city, Kyung Ki Do and the other is 'Total Art Gallery' at Pyong Chang Dong in Seoul.
