Increasing demands for leased-line connections between LANs, between PBX facilities or between host computers requiring the transfer of large volumes of data indicate the need for an ultra high-speed leased-line service with capabilities far exceeding those of existing digital data transfer services. NTT answers the challenge by adding an ultra high-speed product to its line of high speed digital transfer services on October 5, 1993. The service is introduced between all MA points in Japan.
