Beginning on April 1, 1992, users paying a fixed monthly fee can receive discounted direct dialing on calls placed any time Saturday, Sunday or Holidays, as well as between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am on weekdays. The new service is called "TeleChoice" (monthly discount service). At the start, four plans are offered from TeleChoice 2000 for 200 calls, through TeleChoice 8000 for 800 calls. When this basic calling volume is exceeded, a 15% discount can still be obtained on a certain number of additional calls (unlimited in the case of TeleChoice 8000).*Discounts do not apply to interconnecting line service or mobile communication services.
