On October 17, 1991 the digital telephone introduced in March 1990 is joined by a new model with additional features. The new features include a larger display, an audio reminder of remaining phone card value, and improved help functions, as well as two card slots, a memo function for directory service numbers and receiver volume controls. The design is new, too -- a rounded light gray style. The new phones are introduced along with a new phone booth design.
