On July 19, 1986, charges for Saturday daytime calling (8:00 am - 9:00 pm) over 60km, as well as for Sunday and Holiday calls, are reduced by approximately 40% relative to weekday calling charges. This step is taken as a means of quickly returning to consumers the profits realized from expense-cutting measures under the new privatization policy.
