He appeared in 'Ultra Q', before 'Ultraman' even started. This boy woke up one morning and found himself in a huge cocoon. This almost sounds like Kafka. Although Kanegon was a miser -- as was his family -- he did have a certain charm. Children must have wondered whether it was OK to like this monster or not.
