Remote Piano

By clicking the link above, a Java applet with a piano image will be displayed. It may take some time for the whole image to be loaded. (Use Java saavy browser such as Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0)

Below the piano image, there is a text field to input a number from 1 to 88. By typing return key after entering a number, a red line will be drawn on to the corrosponding key. The result will be transfered to a server in Art Tower Mito, and played on the MIDI piano.

In the concert, Ryuichi Sakamoto will ask the Internet users to enter some numbers displayed beside him. Then, users will have a chance to enter that number to participate with others and make up a sound. The more the participants, the more the sound will get harder.

You may enter the numbers during the rehersal. If you were lucky enough to access when testing the "Remote Piano", then your number will be performed. The result will be broadcasted to clients via RealAudio or StreamWorks.
