This story did not take place many years ago. It took place in today's world. This modern technological world had become so advanced that in a very sad way the people became less human. These modern people spent years working, had great wealth and traveled many miles always looking for something they thought would be better. But with each mile they traveled, they lost a little bit of themselves. They didn't have old family folks around to help them through their tears. They had dysfunctional families, therapists instead of friends, and self help books instead of old loving aunts..

This modern day princess was no different from anyone else of her day. She didn't know why she needed other people. She spent years with all kinds of aches not knowing, all she needed was talk to someone who had been in her place. She was miles from the days and land of her youth when to survive she was forced to reach out. That was the beginning. She made it to the Magic Stream. She finally understood there were some things that could not be done alone.

Another change took place the day she stumbled across the magical highway of Cyber Space. She realized that on this road the waters of the Magic Stream could flow through many lands. She learned HTML and FTP. She traveled the globe in CyberStyle sprinkling water and connecting links. She surfed the net for others who made it to the stream, and for others who'd lost the way. All along the way she wrote, "Connect! Connect! Connect!" She put the links together, and urged others tell their tale.

And they did. There were many who made it to the Magic Stream, some had no legs, and others couldn't talk, others were still wandering. But, in the libraries and homes they could reach out and connect with healing resources. Others were reaching out and others. The one tiny page connected with others who connected to others, and others. It wasn't just this one page, it was happening all over this new highway..

In our world of ever increasing technology, this amazing road has been built. Like the days of long ago when travelers had to connect with others to make a safe journey, we are once again connecting. We are turning off televisions and reaching for others on the same journey. We are reaching out and connecting with each other, and that is the magic of the net.
