Stavanger 5 Star Award for Commonwealth

What is Stavanger 5 Star Award?

Stavanger 5 Star Award was created to recognize personal home pages on the WWW that are presented with excellence in design, layout, presentation, content, uniqueness and origianlity. One of the primary considerations is that the site include something original in its contributions to the Internet. We prefer to think of Internet as citizens of a global community, brought together for the purpose of improving the human condition in some manner. Please sign the GuestPAD with your message for Peace. After you done so, feel free to download the Award - and it would be greate if you make a link from the Award back to this site.

Why this Award?

The Proclaims in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is a common standard of achievement for all peoples and all nations. The recognition of the inherent dignity and of the equal and inelienable right of all members of the human family is the foundation of freedom, justistice and peace in the world.
In a world where we often see people hurt and harm those around us, its good to know that there still is someone genuine.
This is the award for sites on Internet that work in good faith in fundamental human rights, in the dignity and worth of the human person and in the equal rights for men and women in order to promote better standards of life in larger freedom - all in the hope and vision for genuine global peace.

Each one of us has all the wisdom and knowlegde we ever need right within us. It is available to us through our intuitive mind, which is our connection with universal intelligence. However, we often find it difficult to connect our higher wisdom. One of the best way to do so is be meeting and getting to know our inner guide. The inner guide is known by many different names, such as your counselor, spirit, guide, imaganiary friend or master. It is a higher part of yourself, which can come to you in many different forms, but usually comes in the form of a person or being whom you can talk to and relate to as a wise and loving friend.

PLEASE carefully read this Notice:

Being accurate and truthful, I would like to think that Global Peace is possible. Hundreds of people from all over the world have nominated sites for their Contributions To Humanity within the past two months. It is time to become a brotherhood of man and woman, and leave the other ancestral ties and prejudices for whatever reason they came to be in the past.

My father was highly decorated combat veteran for his service as Torpedo Commander on H.Nor. M.S. "STORD" (G-26) , Royal Norwegian Navy, during WWII.

After the war my father resigned from the Navy and became a professional lifesaver. When I was young , my father had injury and wrongful death, while on duty braving a flaming house during a rescue operation. He fell down as a professional firefighter in his attempt to rescue life.

In deepest respect for all those who have lost a loving relative or friend - in War or Peace.

And in honor to all those who risk their life in Peace and Freedom,
by doing what they can.

Sincerely in Peace,

I do not believe that we can put into anyone ideas which are not in him already. As a rule there is in everyone all sorts of good ideas, ready like tinder.

But much of this tinder catches fire, or catches it successfully, only when it meets some flame or spark from outside, i.e. from some other person.

Often, too, our own light goes out, and is rekindled by some experience we go through with a fellow man. Thus we have each of us cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.

If we had before us those who have thus been a blessing to us, and could tell them how it came about, they would be amazed to learn what passed over from their life to ours.
