Hi,
I just recently came back from the CHEP'95 conference in Rio, where Carl Malamud gave a talk about the World's Fair on the Internet. I spoke to him briefly after his presentation about the high speed links and about the CANTAT-3 (an OC-48) link that Teleglobe Canada has between Canada and Europe. After looking at the park.org homepage I was disappointed to see that there wasn't a Canadian pavillion nor was there any listing of Canadian participation. In talking with folks at NIKHEF, they indicated that it is a great project and that Canada should get involved. I would also like to see that as well.
So I am writing to ask about how to get involved and to get a Canadian host site up and running for the World's Fair on the Internet. I would like to interest the correct people in the nation's capital, Ottawa, to see if we, Canada, can get involved.
