Norman Ross Publishing The Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam holds a unique collection of approximately 1,600 models originally belonging to the Royal Dutch Navy, which illustrate the rich history of Dutch shipbuilding and seafaring in the 18th and 19th centuries. This collection was, however, previously inaccessible since a systematic catalogue with a thorough description of the objects was lacking. Now thanks to a multi-year project this need has been fulfilled. All the objects in the collection has been catalogued in both English and Dutch and photographed. Thanks to publication on the powerful medium CD-ROM, historians and lovers of old ships can now undertake countless research projects. Contents, features, specification and pricing information. |
