The majestic & serene tomb of Emperor Tu Duc is set admist frangipani trees & a grove of pines on Duong Xuan mountain of Duong Xuan Thuong village which is 8 km from Hue city. The tomb was constructed between 1864 and 1867. Surrounding the tomb is brick-made wall. The entrance gate is Vu Khiem Mon. The tomb is an attractive, beautiful sight. It is not only a cultural construction but also a place of historical event.
