Construction of tomb of Emperor Minh Mang who ruled 1820-1840 was begun in 1841 & completed in 1843. The tomb, 12 km from Hue city, is on Cam Khe moutain of An Bong village. Its area is about 18 hectares. The walls surrounding the tomb have the height of 3.5 metres and perimeter of 1,750 metres. The tomb is wellknown for the harmonious blending of its archi- tecture with the natural surroundings. It's one of the most majestic tombs.
