THE HISTORY MUSEUM

  The history museum is a national museum. It was founded in 1926 and named "Ecole d'Etreme-Orient"; in 1958 it was restored and renamed the Vietnam History Museum. On display are rich collections of archacological finds of great scientific and artistic value, illustrating the development of the nation and the state of Vietnam from the dawn of is history to the period prior to the formation of the Vietnam Communist Party.
