Built in 1443 with the original name of Dai Bi, this pagoda was renovated in 1771 and renamed Kim Lien (Golden lotus). It is described as the most beautiful pagoda in Hanoi. It consists of 3 parallel buildings. They are jouned by uplastered brick walls with round openings where the Buddist emblem and religious characters are interwined. Most attractive among the whole architectural complex are the 3 gates and the elaborate basrelief.
