GIAC VIEN PAGODA

  Giac Vien Pagoda was founded in 1803 by the monk Hai Tinh Giac Vien.The first chamber is lined with funeral tablets. At the back of the second chamber is a statue of Hai Tinh Giac Vien monk, holding a horse-tail swatch. Opposite Hai Tinh Giac Vien is a representation of 18-armed Chuan De, a form of the Goddess of Mercy, who is flanked by two guardians. The main sanctuary is on the other side of the wall behind Hai Tinh Giac Vien.
