Concerning the Investment Co-operation with the Government on the field of construction , technical and designing consultancy.

In memorandum No 1440-UBTD dated 16 July 1993, the State Committee for Cooperation and Investment temporary decided not to receive and review any cooperation and investment projects on the field of construction. However, in the recent circumstances, the S tate Committee for Cooperation and Investment has decided to receive and review those projects if the following requirements shall be met:

I- Towards the construction projects.

1. Parties joining the investment must be professional construction organizations having legal person status and legal certificate. The foreign Party must have registered capital from 5 million US Dollars and annual average revenue of the last 5 years m ust be from 20 million US Dollars upwards.

2. Investment projects cooperating with foreign countries must have legal capital or capital contributed by Parties for the implementation of business cooperation contract from 1 million US Dollars upwards; in which machinery, equipment for execution mu st be values not less than 500 thousand US Dollars.

3. To have appropriate technology transfer.

II- Towards projects on technical and designing consultancy

1. Parties joining the investment must be professional consulting and designing organizations, having the legal person status and legal certificate.

2. foreign Parties must demonstrate to have enough experts for the project performance.

3. Legal capital must be from 100, 000 US Dollars upwards, and have the required equipment and technology.

4. To have appropriate technology transfer.

This notice is for the understanding and implementation of all agencies.
