fEE COLLECTION fROM THE fOREIGN INVESTED PROJECTS

To: - All Ministries and Ministerial Agencies, and the Offices under the Government;
- The provincial/city People's Committees.

To collate information and data for report to the Government on the collection of fee and levy from foreign invested projects in Vietnam and to establish a new collection system under the instruction by the Prime Minister, the Ministry of finance requests Ministries, the provincial/city People's Committees to report on the following issues:

1. Regarding charges or fees, which are being collected by Ministries or branches under the provincial/city People's Committees from foreign invested projects from the planning to the implementing stage, the report should cover:

- Types of charges or fees.
- Rates of charges or fees.
- Amount collected in 1994.
- The use of the collected charges or fees.

2. Recommendation for other charges of fees in the course of project planning, appraisal and implementation.

Ministries and the municipal/provincial People's Committees are to send their reports to the Ministry of finance (Taxation Department at No. 10 Phan Huy Chu street, Hanoi) prior to 20 January 1995 to collate information and data for report to the Governme nt for decision making. Any Ministries or localities which fail to report shall be considered not to have collected such fees.
