Tawu Taiwan Amentotaxus Nature Preserve

Taiwan Amentotaxus (Amentotaxus formosana) is a small evergreen teee of the Yew family and the only coniferous species of tree in this southern, low mountain sub-tropical forest. It is among the eleven flora species designated by the Cultural Heritage Conservation guidelines as protected "conservation wildlife," and the nature preserve was established as a protection area for this rare plant.
