All-out liberalization of radio and television channels has increased
the number of radio and television stations from 33 to 200. A fourth
nationwide over-the-air television channel has been made available to the
public, and cable television stations will continue to be set up till they
reach 150 in number.

As the ROC intensifies its news dissemination to the world, it is
gaining the confirmation and support of the international media. Already
3,000 international reports have supported the ROC's return to the
international community.
