A Buddhist sutra translated by Siksananda. printed at the Lung-hsing Monastery, Hangchow, in the Ch'un-hua reign (A.D. 990 994) during the Northern Sung dynasty. Frame size: 24.3 x 10.8 cm. This book contains no preface, but has an illustration on the opening page, and explanatory notes on pronunciation at the end of every chuan.
The book is bound in the style known as the 'Buddhist-sutra fold', also called 'whirlwind leaves'. A long sheet of paper is folded in concertina fashion, and bound with two boards as covers. This form was mostly used for Buddhist literature.
