Chiang-yueh sung-feng-chi ( 12 chuan )



This is a handwritten book by Ch'ien Wei-shan on his collected writings. The book is bound in the so-called "single-leaf" binding and measures 27.1 x 44.1 cm. The author's style-name is Ssu-fu and his sobriquet Hsin-pai-tao-jen. He was a native of Ch'ien-t'ang and a resident of Hua-ting. In the early years of the Chih-yuan reign (A.D. 1335-1340) he went to participate in the Provincial Examinations and presented a theme on the Lo Ch'a river. He died in the early years of the Hung-wu reign (A.D. 1368 1398).
