After "An Immortal Holding a Peach of Longevity," by Shen Chou

This silk tapestry was modeled after a painting by Shen Chou depicting an immortal under a peach tree. A poem of five lines and Shen Chou's signature are at the top. At the bottom of the piece is the inscription "Made by Wu Ch'i of Wu-men ."
Wu Ch'i was a native of Suchou and took the style name Shang-chung. His date of birth is not known.
