Hairpins

Ch'ing dynasty (A.D. 1644-191 l)

This group includes a hairpin in the shape of a bat (20.2 cm long), one in the shape of a chry-santhemum-blossom (i4.3 cm long), and one in tire shape of a flower made from small pearls (14.5 cm long). These hairpins are constructed of various carved semi-precious stones, including coral and jade.
