Rump angle
Rump angle is scored on basis of the slope between hipbone and pinbone.
The more sloped the rump angle, the higher the score (see bottom part
of figure2).
The relation between rump angle score with the culling rate
(adjusted for herd-year-season effect and production level)
In case of a horizontal rump angle a score of 3 is given to rump angle.
A score of 1 is awarded to high pinbones.
