It is obvious that the higher the overall score for legs and feet, the lower the culling rate. Heifers with a higher score for legs and feet have a greater chance to start the next lactation. It looks like a linear relation: each point higher reduces the chance for the heifer to be culled by about 2 percent from first lactation to third lactation. It is clear that legs and feet have a very positive influence on the cows herdlife.
