LocationThe lifting-towers containing the operating equipment are positioned in the extension of the Hartel Bridge pillars. Steel lifting-gates with a span of 49.3 and 98 metres respectively are placed in the openings created in this way. In the open condition the gates are raised up, when the underside is at a level of NAP + 14 metres, a little higher than the bottom of the Hartel Bridge. When the gates are closed they have a retaining height of NAP + 3 metres. |
