Established in 1979, Lotte Department Store is the largest of its kind in Korea. It offers the a variety of goods and is situated where transportation ways are easily accessable. Lotte especially boasts of its sincere service to clients.

In Seoul, Lotte has its main store, Yongdung po store, Chamsil Store, Lotte World, and Chunyang ri Store. Kumsan Store is located in Pusan.

Being the oldest department store in Korea, Shinsegae specializes in retail. The store also contributes much to Korea's modern circulation industry.

Established in l963, Shinsegae is a model for department stores of today. It is the first ever department store, first introduced the credit card system and created an original brand.

Shinsegae previously belonged to Samsung but in l99l it was detached from the company and started an independent business system. Thus opening other stores and Korea's first discount store caIIed E-mart.

The main store, Yungdung po Store, Mia Store, Chun ho Store is located in Seoul and Sangahe store in Kwangju. E-mart has its divisions at Changdong Store, Ilsan Store, Ansan store and Bupyung Store.
