Kim So Whol (1902 - 1934)
Born in Pyongbuk Koosungkun Wangindong, his real name was Kim Jung Shik. He made his debut in 1920 in the magazine "chang jo" with his poem, 'Traveler's Spring'. With literary Kim Dong In they made the group "young dae". In his works he recites sadness and grief. His poems potrayed seperation, yearning, sadness, and tears. Not being able to face reality, poet Kim So Whol ended his life by drinking in 1934. |
