Located in Sochodong, Seoul Arts Center is the first multi cultural arts center in Korea. Under Korea Broadcasting Corforation's plans of public interest, it was able to be built by gathering gerformance fees and in l987 it became an independent Seoul Arts Center.




  • Seoul Calligraphy Hall

    The world's only caligraphy hall has 2 floors with lO exhibition rooms. Both ancient calligraphy and modern calligraphy can be seen.

    On the 4th floor there is a conference hall.



  • Seoul Music Hall

    Local performers love to make their awearance here and this building is also where top artist make their guest appearances. The building holds hall, rehearsal room, practicing room, lobby and a makeup room.



  • Seoul Cultural Information Hall

    The building is able to seat 76 people and has information from all over the world. Scripts, scores, micro films, posters, programs, pamphlets can be used. Also the audio/visual hall has laser discs, video and audio tapes, CD, DAT, slides and weeldy and monthly magazines.



  • Seoul Opera Theater

    Inside the round building there is a public area and a performing area. Usually on the public premises small concerts are held.
