What is a 'Pavilion'?
- A pavilion is
- A virtual exhibition hall providing various contents about society, culture, education, science and technology by way of an on-line system of texts, graphics and sounds, resulting in a complete virtual experience.
- Types of pavilions :
- Public Pavilion
- Made by a non-commercial Organization as a public service: for example, a governmental organization, community group, school, or research institute providing information for the public good.
- Corporate Pavilion
- Made by a company's official organizers, who actively promote its goods or services and produce an image consistent with the goal of 'globalization'.
- Individual Pavilion
- Made by anyone who can provide inventive ideas on the web and show their interests to be consistent with the purpose of the '96 Internet Expo. Individual pavilions are free of charge.
- Open Pavilion
- For organizations or individuals not included in the above three categories. Open pavilions are free of charge.
