Internet eXchange(IX)
- Role of Internet eXchange(IX) in Asia region is mainly to provide interconnectivity within domestic ISPs or NSPs.Because many of ISPs has their own connectivity with U.S. Sites, but domestic or inter-asia connectivity is not so rich.
So,IX strengthens Asain Internet, and one of the way to break away from US-centeric paradigm.
