How to get VDOLive Player

 To enjoy the relay broadcasting of live using the VDOLive system, you need VDOLive Player. VDOLive Player is distributed by VDOnet Inc. for nothing, but this application is only PowerMacintosh compatible now. You can download this application for Macintosh HERE.
Please choose "Select a platform to download", then click "Power Macintosh". After the instruction would be indicated, VDOLive Player will be downloaded automatically.

How to install VDOLive Player

 Download the self extracting file and save it on your hard drive. Open this file by double clicking on it or dragging it onto StuffIt Expander. This will create a new folder called "VDOLive Player Beta 2.0.0b", by default in the same folder where you saved the file.

In that folder you'll find 4 files:

VDO Player PPC 2.0.0b - the VDOLive Player executable.
Legal Stuff - License agreement.
VDOLive Player Readme.
VDOLive Player Guide.

How to set up WWW browser

 And if you use Netscape, installer'll ask you what to do with "video/vdo" while the installation, push "Pick App". And then the dialog to choose application will be opened, please choose "VDOLive Player" to make it a helper application.

To make VDOLive a helper application of WWW browser, please set up WWW browser like listed below:

How to use VDOLive Player
If VDOLive Player is set up as a helper application of WWW browser, when you go to pages by VDOLive, it'll work automatically and movie will start.

And at the first use, you will get a message saying that you must input your name, organization, and e-mail address, so please input them.

You can handle playing of data with "Play/Stop" button at the bottom left of screen, and to control volume, you can use slider.

And to open a file downloaded, choose "Open URL" in "File", to access new data, choose"New URL".
