: Companies Exhibiting in Global Visions Expo 97
Announce Plans in Rapid Succession
: On June 18th and 19th leading corporations announced their plans to exhibit under the individual pavilion category. On the 18th, Mr.Kanji Nakai, president of the Tohoku branch of NEC (based in Tokyo, Mr.Hisashi Kaneko, president) made their announcement. On the following day, Mr. Norio Wada, president of the Tohoku branch of NTT(based in Tokyo, Mr.Hitoshi Kojima,President) announced their decision to exhibit.
: In terms of the actual content of the exhibits the companies will finalize their plans by fall.It appears that the application of the newest computer technology will become the focus of what promises to be a visionary presentation.
: The Hitachi Manufacturing Division has already announced their decision to exhibit as an individual pavilion. In addition several corporations, including group companies, have expressed their interest. It is believed that ultimately 7 or 8 individual pavilions will be constructed.
