Hitachi's Individual Pavilion Announced
In addition to the theme pavilion which the sponsoring organizing committee of the Global Visions Expo '97 will construct, approximately ten other unique pavilions are being planned. Three categories will be featured including individual, cooperative, and assembly pavilions. Participation of leading enterprises and governmental institutions both from Japan and overseas is expected.
At present the office of the organizing committee under the leadership of Mr. Shiro Asano, governor of Miyagi prefecture and chairman of the organizing committee, is pursuing exhibition negotiations with these groups. Several businesses have already announced their decision to exhibit individual pavilions.
On May 16, 1996 Hitachi announced their decision to become an exhibitor. This announcement by Hitachi, one of Japan's leading manufacturer of electrical appliances and machinery, is expected to increase the interest of other businesses and groups to participate.
Those businesses that have announced their plans to exhibit have begun their preparations to display the newest equipment and visual presentation systems.
