National Bihoku hill park

The national Bihoku hill park, Japan's 11th biggest national park, occupies approximately 350 ha in the northern part of Hiroshima Prefecture, in the hills around Shobara. The park was opened in April 1995.
Under the theme "Home and Play" the park tries to reconstruct living in the hills of Chugoku as well as rural sceneries of the Bihoku region where the so-called "Hiba-no-Sato", "fresh lawn square", "mountain athletic course" and similar facilities have been preparerd.
