Hiroshima Municipal Historical Museum

The Hiroshima Municipal Historical Museum was opened in November 1989.
This building is located within the Fukuyama park and forms with the Fukuyama Museum a cultural zone' in the eastern part of the prefecture.
Displaying remains that had been buried in the river bed include mainly the nationwide famous remains of Kusadosengen village and further evidence of the daily life of the population in the Seto area without counterparts elsewhere in Japan this museum is unique.
