Welsh onion
Hiroshima's Welsh onions have been grown since long ago, mainly in the eastern, coastal region including Onomichi, Mihara and Mukaishima. This area is Japan's best growing area. The Welch onions grown in this region have a special taste and are well known for their good quality. These fruits are sold mainly in the "Chubu" and "Kinki" ares (southern and eastern areas).

Devil's tongue
Hiroshima's devil tongue (konnyaku) is grown mainly in the Jinseki district as a special regional product. This regions is the best growing district in western Japan. The maximum quality devil's tongue is grown there from ancient native seeds and its suitability as a food is nationwide acknowledged.

Welsh onion
