Lemon

The warm climate of the Inland sea of Japan with little rain has made the area a growing region for citrus fruits. Among these citrus fruits the lemon production in Setoda, Toyohama is the best in this region. Until the end of November bright green (Mogitate lemon) are shipped from here. Cultivation using agricultural chemicals is also intensively integrated, so that the consumer now can enjoy fragrant and safe products.


Ochou oranges

The Ochou oranges are grown on the two islands of Osaki-Shimojima and Toyoshima, about in the center of the Inland sea of Japan. The steep slopes on these islands provide for an excellent drainage, so that the there grown oranges have a rich taste and very good quality. These products achieve on the market very high prices, because of the good reputation of the growing area well known on the market.
In recent years, the growing of high quality fruit and the improvement of high level contact technologies is also actively pursued.
