The Ochou oranges are grown on the two islands of Osaki-Shimojima and Toyoshima, about in
the center of the Inland sea of Japan. The steep slopes on these islands provide for an
excellent drainage, so that the there grown oranges have a rich taste and very good quality.
These products achieve on the market very high prices, because of the good reputation of the
growing area well known on the market.
In recent years, the growing of high quality fruit and the improvement of high level contact
technologies is also actively pursued.
